The Lexus Connect App – a Touch of Convenience for Lexus Owners

The saying ‘there’s an app for that’ is now applicable to Lexus owners.. The new Lexus Connect App brings a world of convenience and peace of mind to your fingertips. This mobile app connects you to your Lexus no matter where you are.

With a suite of advanced functions, you can link to your Lexus from the comfort of your couch, check your vehicle’s status while you eat dinner, or remind yourself exactly where you parked after that shopping trip to the mall.

What’s on offer?

The Lexus Connect app has six new practical functions to make your life that much easier.

Remote Engine Start – 25 years ago, movie-goers were wowed by James Bond’s remote engine start gadget in the film Tomorrow Never Dies. Today, that technology is in your hands with Lexus Connect. The app allows you to start and stop the engine remotely, even when you’re not in the driver’s seat.

Car Finder – we've all done it at least once – you've spent the day at the mall and forgotten where you parked. With Lexus Connect, you tap the screen, bring up Car Finder, and it will tell you exactly where your vehicle is located.

Guest Driver Monitor – While you may be reluctant to allow anyone else to sit in the driver’s seat of your Lexus, there is always the chance that you may want to loan your vehicle to family or friends. When that happens, you can keep a watchful eye on the status of your car with the Guest Driver Monitor function.

Remote Check – This simple function allows you to check the status of your vehicle when it's out of visual range. You can ensure it's where it's supposed to be, and that the engine is turned off - you can even lock the doors remotely if you've forgotten to lock your vehicle when you parked.

Access Dashboard – Lexus vehicles are famous for their high-tech dashboards. So, it makes sense to connect their cutting-edge dashboard technology with the Lexus Connect app. This allows you to check the odometer to make sure your vehicle hasn't been driven without your knowledge and to check your fuel level just in case your first stop needs to be a petrol station to fill up.

Anti-Theft Alarm – We always have our smartphones with us, so it’s the perfect component in an effective security system for your car. The Anti-Theft Alarm will immediately notify you when your vehicle is being tampered with, even when you’re out of visual range.

Which vehicles is the Lexus Connect app compatible with?

Lexus Connect is a relatively new concept, so currently it is featured in the 2023 Lexus ES, the 2023 Lexus UX, the 2022-23 Lexus NX and the 2022-23 Lexus LX. There may be plans to add Lexus Connect to additional models in the next 12 months, making it accessible to more Lexus owners.

How to get Lexus Connect

If your vehicle is compatible with the app, it’s easy and free to download. Go to the Google Play or Apple App stores and download the Lexus Connect Middle East app. Open the app and tap ‘Register’.

You’ll then be asked to enter your vehicle information, including the VIN and the last four digits of your mobile phone. If your vehicle is compatible with the app, you’ll then be asked to create your account.

Add your membership information, set a 4-digit PIN, and your registration is complete.

Once your service is activated, you'll get a confirmation email, and you're ready to start using Lexus Connect.
