What You Need To Know About Takata Airbag Safety Recall
In line with Lexus global standards, Al-Futtaim has initiated a recall campaign to replace certain Takata front airbag inflators.
Over time, specific inflators may be affected by moisture exposure, which in rare circumstances could lead to increased internal pressure during deployment. This may result in the inflator rupturing and causing injury in the event of an accident. This is part of a global safety recall affecting multiple automotive manufacturers.
If your vehicle is impacted, we strongly recommend arranging your service without delay. Affected owners will be contacted by Al-Futtaim to schedule the required service. The replacement is carried out at no cost and typically takes around 2.5 hours and includes a complimentary minor service along with interior and exterior cleaning.
